Republicans share what they’re most grateful for this Thanksgiving

We have many things to be grateful for this year, be it a roof over our heads, the warmth of the company of friends and family around a lavish dinner table, or something else. In less conventional terms, many will be grateful for the positive results of November’s election, which gives Republicans and President-elect Trump a brief period of time to correct some of the mistakes made over the past four years under the Biden-Harris administration were committed.

What I found encouraging in reviewing the Republican and conservative thank you messages this year is that many of the voices we hear from may not have even spoken out 365 days ago. I’ll start with a kind of second word along these lines:

On the wordless memes that X owner Elon Musk posted on Thanksgiving, actress Justine Bateman praised him for how he transformed the social media platform:

.@elonmusk, thank you for buying Twitter and giving us all @X. This step took some air out of the radiant balloon before it burst completely due to the election.

Happy Thanksgiving to you.

As my colleague Mike Miller previously wrote, Trump shared one of his classic holiday messages.

Vice President-elect Vance also delivered a Thanksgiving message to Americans:

He wrote:

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Despite our challenges, we remain the greatest nation in the world, and I am very grateful for that – and for all of you!

Harmeet Dhillon, the founder of Dhillion Law Group and a key member of Team Trump’s 2024 Election Integrity legal team in Arizona, also chimed in:

She wrote that although she and her mother are missing critical family members this year, she is grateful and blessed that her family can call the United States home:

Mom and I are celebrating our first Thanksgiving without our husbands. All four of us enjoyed this holiday very much and always gave thanks at the table that God had brought us to America, where we enjoy so many blessings even in this year of loss.

The pilgrims came here in search of religious freedom, which has come under increasing attack in recent years. I am so grateful that we get to enjoy it for years to come, even if we never take these blessings for granted.

Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁 to all Americans and those who love us around the world!

New border czar Tom Homan thanked everyone for voting, reminded us all that substantial changes are coming and asked Americans what they are grateful for:

He wrote:

Happy Thanksgiving, America!

I am grateful to every American whose vote made a difference this election cycle.

Because we voted for the one man who could make a difference, Donald Trump, we are just 53 days away from the changes in America we all want.

Is there anything specific you are grateful for, America?

And while this message was delivered on behalf of our Salem Media colleague Dennis Prager, it is a good reminder to keep him and his ongoing health journey (after a stern fall at his home on November 12th) in our prayers this Thanksgiving.

It is said:

May your Thanksgiving be filled with love, delicious food, and a grateful heart!
