Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appeared on Dr. Phil’s show on Wednesday and made an unexpected offer:
“We will both sponsor a poll in October, and whoever has the slightest chance of beating Donald Trump will withdraw,” he said.
He will not be speaking on the debate stage on Thursday evening, but his views will be expressed beforehand:

The nephew of former President John F. Kennedy and son of former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, who is still running as a third-party candidate despite his defeat to Biden in the Democratic primary, admitted that he does not expect a reaction from the distant president, but stressed that his goal is to not be a “spoiler”:
Kennedy has consistently cited a survey by Zogby Analysis This shows that Trump would beat Biden if he ran or were in a head-to-head contest, while RFK Jr. would beat the Republican or Biden in a head-to-head contest.
The Independent has doubts about whether Biden would accept the deal, which it says is still on the table, and claims it proves that Biden is not trying to rig the election.
“Do I expect him to take the deal? No, but I’m not a spoilsport. A spoilsport is someone who can’t win, but he sticks around and thwarts the expectations of someone who can win,” Kennedy clarified.
He is firmly convinced that excluding him from the process is not the American way:

Kennedy also spoke about the recent arrival of Russian warships in Cuba:
Kennedy covered a wide range of topics on Dr. Phil’s primetime show, including what he believes he learned from his uncle, the president, in times of crisis.
He particularly mentioned JFK’s handling of the Cuban Missile Crisis, the nearly two-week-long confrontation between America and the Soviets over the stationing of nuclear missiles near Cuba.
Dr. Phil brought it up because many believe that tensions between the US and Russia at its lowest point since the crisiswith some lawmakers believing Biden leads America sleepwalking into a repeat.
“I would do the same thing my uncle did. My father had gone to the Justice Department and negotiated a deal.”
Kennedy fears that Biden and Co. could lead us into a global conflict:
He feared that Biden’s plan with NATO could bring America “closer to nuclear war than at any time in history since 1962.”
“It’s all just like in the First World War. The people in the offices are slumbering in a conflict that we should have nothing to do with.”
RFK Jr. is an enigma and has championed the views of both sides of the political spectrum. He is clearly not the answer conservatives are looking for. Should he still be kept off the debate stage, even though he has won the support of a significant portion of the electorate? Could he make the difference in this year’s all-important battle? He may not be the antidote to the Biden plague that has changed America, but he is nevertheless an engaging voice indeed.
