Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) sharply criticized retired Army Maj. Gen. Randy Manner over his comments about President-elect Donald Trump and his supporters.

Manner appeared before a Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing on Tuesday regarding the recent government’s plans to carry out mass deportations of criminal illegal immigrants.

Manner, who has been a useful idiot for Democrats in the past, made an opening statement opposing the plan to solve America’s illegal immigration crisis, saying it is not the military’s job “to police its citizens or to implement controversial and politically explosive things”. Immigration policy.

They wouldn’t monitor their citizens, General; that would be them protect them by overseeing an ongoing invasion of the country.

When Senator Kennedy was given the opportunity to question Manner, he made some past comments and suggested that the service member thought he was “smarter than the American people.”

Kennedy is always entertaining at these hearings, and he does an incredible job here of refusing to back down on Manner’s previous comments celebrating Gen. Mark Milley’s own claim that Trump is a “fascist.”

“On October 14th of this year you went on CNN. I want to read back to you what you said to make sure I’m correct. Here’s what you said: ‘President Trump is not like any sane leader. I’m very proud of it.’ “General Milley for saying that President Trump is a total fascist,” Kennedy confronted.

“To Bob Woodward: ‘When he, as chairman of the Joint Chiefs, calls the president a fascist, I’m so proud of him for breaking that barrier,'” he continued. “‘The challenge is that most MAGA Republicans don’t understand what fascism is. The reality is that they are actually fascists themselves.’”

“Did I read that correctly?” asked the senator.

Manner wanted nothing to do with the issue, insisting that his previous comments were “not the purpose of today’s hearing.”

Unfazed, Kennedy asked, “You think you’re smarter than the American people, don’t you?”

Manner insisted that this was not the case and again tried to divert attention back to his witnessing of mass deportations.

“You think you’re more virtuous than the American people, don’t you, General?” Kennedy pressed.

“Senator, your comment offends me,” the enraged man replied.

Kennedy repeatedly pressed Manner, mentioning his opening speech about “duty, honor, respect” and suggesting that the retired Arny General did not display such qualities.

“Senator, I have served my country with absolute honor and distinction for 35 years, and I will continue to do so,” Manner emphasized.

Honor and distinction are not things one would associate with someone who celebrates Milley’s undisguised praise Acts of treason in an effort to undermine former and soon-to-be re-elected President Trump. Nor can it be linked to Manner, who signed a letter in September blaming Trump for the Biden-Harris regime’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Shortly thereafter, Manner feared that Trump would exploit the National Guard to carry out mass deportations and suggested that he would exploit the National Guard as “his personal police force.”
