A 17-year-old student at Bonnabel High School in Kenner, Louisiana, has been arrested and faces numerous sex offense charges for molesting several children as young as four years vintage.
Competent police announced the arrest by Luis Renan Bonilla-Alfaro on Tuesday, a day after receiving an anonymous tip.
Captain Michael Cunningham reported that the anonymous call “referred to a Hispanic man sexually molesting children in a trailer park in the city.”
Cunningham states that Bonilla-Alfaro was accused by residents of sexually abusing a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old boy.
(*4*) he said.
When questioned, police claim the teenager admitted to the crimes and confessed to recording them on his phone. Authorities later discovered that he was in the country illegally.
Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley identified him as coming from Honduras.
“Luis Renan Bonilla-Alfaro has been charged with first-degree rape, two counts of sexual assault, two counts of pornography involving juveniles and indecent conduct with juveniles,” Cunningham added.
The story gets worse. After Bonilla-Alfaro’s cell phone was confiscated, authorities found a third young victim who was also forced to commit depraved acts.
A follow-up report from WDSU 6 News in New Orleans suggests that two more victims would come forward at some point – the previously unidentified boy seen in the cell phone footage and another child. These two novel victims are 8 and 13 years vintage.
Bonilla-Alfaro will face additional charges based on the other victims’ reports. He is reportedly in ICE custody, but it is unclear when and where he entered the country illegally.
This isn’t the first time this trailer park has encountered a problem with an illegal immigrant sexually abusing a minor.
Last September, Diego Rodriguez-Salvador was arrested for kidnapping and raping a 13-year-old girl at the same location. Salvador, a friend of the victim’s brother, offered to drive the girl to the store, but instead went in a different direction, pulled out a knife and raped her. according to WDSU.
The school district where Bonilla-Alfaro was a student issued a statement specifically stating that schools are required to serve students “regardless of race, color, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, or the immigration status of their parents or legal guardians.” to include status.”
Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill (right) commented on these horrific events Crimes on X.
“Illegal immigration threatens everyone in our community. Secure the border!” she wrote. “Prayers for the victims in this case.”
Murrill recently joined 15 other attorneys general in filing a lawsuit against the Biden administration that seeks to stop implementation of a policy that expands amnesty for illegal immigrants residing in the United States.
Murrill also joined Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry (right) in suing DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in the case of an illegal immigrant from China who was found to be a carrier of a scarce, drug-resistant strain of tuberculosis.
