There are reports that since Biden’s tightened asylum policy in early June, the number of illegal immigrants crossing the US-Mexico border has increased. fallen 40 percent, according to government officials. But at what cost?
If the report is correct, it is good news and a step in the right direction, provided they can maintain these numbers and even improve them significantly.
If that’s true, then why didn’t President Biden decide to make asylum claims stricter when he took office in 2021? Instead of allowing illegal immigrants to enter the country unchecked, which led to Americans being raped and murdered.
Suddenly, just before the debates, this report comes out in the middle of election season. But the damage is done. From Laken Riley to Rachel Morin to Jocelyn Nungaray, among other victims, all those who lost their lives and their families because of Biden’s open borders policy will never be the same again.

Deputy White House Press Secretary secretary Andrew Bates had the nerve to claim that Biden would “continue to lead” by “secure” the border.
President Biden will continue to exercise his leadership, including by taking action to secure our border and calling on Republicans in Congress to do their job and pass the bipartisan Border Security Act.
Even Politico acknowledges that after major political changes the numbers tend to fall and then rise again quickly.
The administration attributes the decline to the recent policy, but it is typical for encounters to decline after a major policy change, only to rise again later. Border crossings also declined in the weeks and months leading up to Biden’s recent policy as Mexican authorities increased controls on their side of the border.
President Biden must wake up and finally secure the border.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said on MSNBC:
It is a remarkable feat that our staff accomplished in such a brief period of time. But it is crucial to remember that the President’s executive action is being challenged in court. We cannot provide the Department of Homeland Security with the resources it needs through executive action. And bipartisan legislation in the Senate would have provided comprehensive and lasting relief that executive action cannot.
The Biden administration will say anything that sounds good to get re-elected. However, the American people will see through their lies immediately, as poll after poll shows Trump beating Biden in the swing states.

But GOP voters cannot rest on their laurels. They must turn out in droves in November to make sure Biden loses, and do so for lower gas prices, border security for all Americans, less inflation, and peace in the Middle East.
