New York (AP) – The secretary of the army headed the US military academy in West Point on Wednesday to review its attitudes.
The guideline, which was shared by secretary Dan Driscoll on the social platform X, came only one day after Jen Easterly announced Robert F. McDermott chairman in West Points Social Sciences Department.
It showed how vigorously the government of President Donald Trump tried to take control of the ideology and leadership of university formation and the military during the second term of the president.
It was also emphasized how deeply the concerns about censorship into the Republican Party and the Trump administration are immersed. The Memo indicates West Point to end the agreement of Easter with the institution and “immediately prevent non -state and external groups from choosing the academy employees, including instructors, professors, teachers and the design of academic or developmental lectures”. It also requires an immediate review of the attitude practices of the Military Training Academy.
According to a reason for the memo, a spokesman for the army said in a statement that before the up-to-date academic year: “We process a deliberate approach to ensure that our future officers are best prepared to meet the requirements of the modern battlefield.”
The Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell was in a position on x numb over the argument.

Easter, a veteran of the army stamp and a graduate from West Point did not immediately answer a request for comments on Wednesday.
