The US house passed a legislative template on Thursday to oblige the voters to demonstrate the US citizenship when registering for voting, and a republican priority against the objections of Democrats, which said that the law would only create hurdles for authorized voters without actually improving fraud protection.
The 220-208 votes sent the measure to the US Senate, where it is exposed to a high-up street in order to overcome the 60-counter requirement of the chamber for most laws.
