Boston (AP) – President Donald Trump’s plan to reduce the federal employee, remains on hold on Monday afternoon after a hearing in the courtroom.

It is the latest example of how the republican president’s ambitious plans are integrated into the judicial system.

The US district judge George O’Toole Jr. had carried out the postponed withdrawal program, which was usually referred to as Buyout last week.

On Monday he said that the stay would exist until he issued a decision. It is unclear when that could happen.

Trump wants to exploit financial incentives to encourage government employees to terminate. According to the White House, 65,000 workers had started the government for their offer from Friday.

He criticized people who want to work from a distance with reporters in the Oval Office on Monday.

“Nobody will work from home,” said Trump. “You will go out, you will play tennis, you will play golf, you will do a lot of things. You don’t work.”

The postponed cancellation program was headed by Elon Musk, who acts as Trump’s top consultant for reducing federal expenses. As part of the plan, employees can stop working and paid by September 30th.

But the unions said that the plan was illegal. They asked O’Toole to keep it in the queue and prevent the office for personnel management (OPM) from asking for more workers to register.

Elena Goldstein, who spoke for the workers, said there were “serious questions” about the reasons and legality of the plan.

“Opm seems to grasp this while going on,” she said.

She said the program was an “unprecedented action” on an “unprecedented timeline”, and she described it as an excuse to remove workers and to replace them with people who were brought into harmony with the administration.

Eric Hamilton, a lawyer of the Ministry of Justice, described the plan as a “humane ramp” for federal employees who may have structured their lives in the remote work and were instructed to return to government buildings.
