If you are like me, you could not Wait for the geniuses of ABC’s “The View” to return from their summer vacation! And on Tuesday, the wait was over! The ladies were back and they were just as ridiculously idiotic as ever. Maybe even more idiotic – if that’s even possible.
The topic of the day For Mensa members Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Farah Griffin and alleged Republican Sara Haines, there were two reasons: the “joyous” Democratic convention – also known as “the biggest and most ridiculous gaslighting spectacle in the history of American politics” – and Kamala Harris’ “flawless campaign.”
No, really.
Grab the popcorn; Sunny Hostin the mindless festivities started.
I was at the DNC. I was in Chicago. It was the first convention I ever went to. Because it was the first one I wanted to go to. And it was a party! Okay?
After stunned Whoopi and Behar with the revelation that she had not attended any of Obama’s conventions, Hostin continued.
[W]When (rapper and DJ) Lil Jon came down the stairs, I thought, ‘This is a different kind of convention!’ Okay? And I also felt, Whoopi, that when Trump was president, we heard his inaugural speech, which was about death and despair and how horrible our lives were and how only he could change it.
Apart from Trump Derangement Syndrome, these clowns cannot talk about anything without trying to bring down Trump as quickly as possible.
She went on to mindlessly praise the crazy Walz – or “Tim”, as she “now calls him”.
The message I heard from Tim – I’ll call him Tim now, but from the governor and the vice president was, “Alone we survive, but together we thrive.” And she said something else. She said the strength of a leader is measured by who you – not by who you knock down, but we know that the real strength of a leader is measured by who you build up.
“Not who you’re tearing down”? Except Trump, opulent white people, and CEOs of major corporations, you mean?
Hostin was now beside himself with anger and announced:
So it’s a joy! It was a joy! I mean, and people always seem to think that Republicans, you know, are after patriotism and the flag. I waved my flag, people waved their flags. It was incredibly patriotic. It was about America’s hope and dreams. I feel hope again.
Oh, please.
You people – the left – have been destroying Trump for eight years. be Patriotism, “America First,” and “Make America Great Again.” But now that Princess Kamala is your presidential candidate – who must win the votes of independent and moderate voters – you are like “Yankee Doodle Dandy,” running around waving your flags and boasting about your phony patriotism.
Next, Alyssa Farah Griffin blathered on about Harris running a “flawless…really smart” campaign.
So there’s no doubt that Kamala Harris has the upper hand right now, but I’ve talked to a lot of pollsters and I know how we feel about the polls. They say we live in an era of polarization.
She’s running a flawless campaign. She could run on a Pegasus with bald eagles and a sword and she wouldn’t get a ten-point lead because people tend to vote against the other party and the jersey they’re wearing. But she’s running a really shrewd campaign.
I was at the CNN convention. At one point I closed my eyes and thought, “That could be Mitt Romney speaking!”
Mitt Romney? Please.
As was to be expected, Sarah Haines also embarrassed herself.
What impressed me most is that I don’t care about your politics unless I know who you are. So show me your integrity, show me your character, and then I’m willing to listen to you and have a conversation.
Stop the tape. What “integrity” have we seen from Kamala?
Her admission that she helped cover up (lied about) Joe Biden’s steadily degenerating cognitive abilities month after month? Her hilarious phony changes of mind on fracking and building a border wall? Please enlighten us, Ms. Haines.
She continued:
And what I saw in those two speeches – and what actually moved me to tears – was how they love and how they are loved. And to see this normality of the family, which is actually presented in a very state-of-the-art way. Patchwork family, patchwork faith.
A divorce and yet a thank you – you know, a thank you to his ex-wife. A attractive way of showing how to deal with life and how it happens to all of us, but it was so heartfelt. At that point I thought, you haven’t – now we can talk politics, and they did.
I have to stop, guys. I just about threw up.
