The chairman of the House Democratic Caucus rejected the efforts of some legislators in the party on Tuesday to accuse President Trump.
MP Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.) But as a Republican, both the house and the Senate control, aguilar suggested that the move is simply impractical.
“The elevation is sometimes a tool that can be used. This president is not a stranger. He was charged twice,” Aguilar told reporters in the Capitol. “But we have no trust that Republicans of the house and the Senate would do their job. And this is not an exercise that we are willing to take over.”
A day before Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-Mich.) Submitted seven officials Against Trump for measures that he has taken since January, including the illegal deportation of a Maryland man to El Salvador and the efforts to reduce government spending without the consent of the congress.
Rep. Al Green (D-Texas), another keen Trump critic, explained that he also plans to submit indicators at some point.
In view of the liberal criticism, the office discussion was impressed by the fact that the Democrats of Capitol Hill were not aggressive enough in the first months of his second term. Democratic leaders, including the minority leaders of the House, Hakeem Jeffries (DN.Y.), have rejected this characterization, which have indicated a variety of actions from field mistakes and rallies to Sit-ins and town halls in GOP districts that Democrats carried out to transmit their message to the voters.
“And we will continue to use and meet in different ways within the Capitol, outside the Capitol, in the Capitol steps, in democratic districts and in the republican districts and throughout America,” said Jeffries on Monday.
Aguilar offered a similar message on Tuesday and said that the Democrats will concentrate on their energies to underline the unpopular elements of the political agenda of Trump – including Medicaid cuts and tax cuts for the richest Americans – and not for the survey.
“At the moment we will deal with the tools in front of us,” said Aguilar. “The guidelines that he and the Republicans of the Republicans have promoted – the ruthless cuts of the health system are in our supplementary diet, which women and children and families are dependent on in this country – these are the guidelines we will push back against.
“And these are the objects to which the American public draws attention.”
