West Palm Beach, Florida (AP) – Donald Trump’s doctor says that the oldest elected president is “fully and fitting” as commander -in -chief as commander -in -chief as the White House published the recent physical examination by Trump on Sunday. The 78-year-old Trump is 20 pounds lighter because his investigation as President asked him in 2020 when he bordered on obesity.
His doctor, Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella quoted an “active lifestyle” that “continues to contribute significantly” to the well -being of the Republican President. Trump will be on June 14th 79.
In a three -sided summary of the comprehensive examination on Friday, the doctor said that Trump was “fully and entirely suited to carry out the duties of the commander -in -chief and the head of state”. Trump weighed 224 during the examination, from 244 in this physical more than four years ago.
In the summary it was found that Trump was previously carried out on both eyes, but did not contain any date or data. As a regular procedure for aging people, the operation usually consists of removing a dull eye lens and replacing it with an artificial lens to remove vision.
In July 2024, the then candidate Trump had a colonoscopy that found a benign polyp and the condition as diverticulosis. It is a common illness in which the walls of the intestine weaken with age. It can lead to inflammation, although most people never have any problems with him.
Trump has once again passed a cognitive assessment test in Montreal, a compact screening test for evaluating various brain functions, wrote Barbabella. The test includes reminding of a list of spoken words and listening to a list of random numbers and repeating backwards, including.
Known as Moca, it is the same test that Trump carried out in 2018 and was later told in an interview in which he described a list of words in the order: “Person. Frau. Mann. Camera. TV.”
The president was also examined for depression and anxiety on Friday and, according to the report, had normal scores for questionnaires for these conditions.
Trump may be the oldest person who was elected to the highest office of the nation, but he is four years behind the Democrat Joe Biden, who was 82 years antique at the end of his term in January.
Barbabella wrote that Trump remains in “excellent health” with a “robust” cardiea, lungal, neurological and general physical function.
The doctor said Trump’s days include participation in several meetings, public appearances, media responsibilities and “frequent victories at golf events”. Trump is an enthusiastic golf
Trump’s cholesterol levels have improved over time, supported by the medication, the rosuvastatin and ezetimibe.
In his physics in January 2018, his total cholesterol was 223. At the beginning of 2019, the reading came at 196 and was 167 in 2020. Today it is 140. Ideally, the total cholesterol should be less than 200.
His blood pressure was 128 over 74. This is considered increased, and people in this situation will probably develop high blood pressure, unless the levels are undertaken to control the condition.
Trump has a resting heart rate of 62 strokes per minute according to the earlier tests. A normal resting frequency for adults ranges from 60 strokes to 100 strokes per minute, and in general a lower rate means better cardiovascular fitness.
Trump also occupies aspirin, which can reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.
The examination found minor sun protection for Trump’s skin and some benign lesions, but no relevant lesions or growth. It also confirmed Trump’s right ear of a gunshot wound during an attempt at assassination by a butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024.
Barbabella led and monitored the medical examination of Trump and said that it included diagnostic and laboratory tests in addition to consultations with 14 specialists.
Barbabella is a decorated naval doctor who specializes in emergency and tactical medicine and served several business trips in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has a purple heart and a Legion of Merit Award, two of the highest honor in the military.
Barbabella is also the third Osteopathic doctor in a row, who, as the president’s doctor, acted after Bidens’ doctor and one of the doctors who took care of Trump during his first term. Barbabella led a Naval Health Clinic in Havelock, North Carolina before Trump knocked him on for the job.
