Former MP Lori Chavez-Deremer (R-OR) took a step closer to the profit confirmation as a working secretary of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pension Committee (Help) on Thursday.
The members of the committee voted 13: 9 for their nomination and moved them towards the Senate for a complete confirmation vote in the coming weeks.
However, there was a drama that dealt with the balance sheet, as Senator Randrand Rand Paul (R-Ky) made it clear for weeks that he opposed her earlier support for the Pro act, which were widespread by Democrats, which would help to strengthen the ability of the unions.
Democratic Sens. Maggie Hassan (NH), John Hickenlooper (Colorado) and Tim Kaine (Va.) Wirten Chavez deremer and gave her the necessary voices to overcome the finish line.
Deremer has long been one of the most likely candidates among President Trump’s candidates to gain democratic support because she supports the Pro-Union Law Template.
However, it remains to be seen whether Republicans will follow Paul’s leadership on the ground in her confirmation vote.
Chavez deremer lost their offer in November for a re-election in the 5th congress district of Oregon, a purple seat in the purple session.
