Trump speaks humbly to his supporters at campaign headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida, on election night

Amid occasional chants of “USA, USA” and “I love you” from the crowd, former President Donald Trump spoke to supporters at his campaign headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida, after Decision Desk headquarters predicted he would would claim the presidency once again.

Trump announced to the crowd that the Trump-Vance campaign had indeed won the popular vote:

The 47th president-elect then congratulated his running mate, Senator JD Vance (R-OH), who will now become vice president-elect along with Vance’s wife. Trump marveled at the fact that Vance seemed excited about appearing on legacy media:

Later, Trump drew attention to another gigantic supporter on stage, Dana White, the founder of the UFC, and invited him to say a few words. White concluded by saying, “This is karma, ladies and gentlemen. He deserves this.” He then thanked “the mighty Joe Rogan” and the president-elect’s supporters:

Republicans also won control of the U.S. Senate on Tuesday and could potentially gain five seats in the upper house. The composition of the House of Representatives is still unclear, but the signs for Republicans are positive:
