Like many other Wall Street CEOs, Steve Schwarzman, CEO of the Blackstone Group, distanced himself from Donald Trump after his election defeat to Joe Biden in 2020 and the highly politicized events of January 6, 2021. (note: Do not confuse Blackstone with Blackrockanother giant investment company known for its dubious reverence for ESG.)
But after witnessing Biden’s policies wreak havoc in America, Schwarzman changed his mind and is throwing his considerable weight behind none other than the former president.
The increasing anti-Semitism in this country – and Biden’s unwillingness to take decisive action against it – played a major role in his decision.
Steve Schwarzman, CEO of the Blackstone Group, announced on Friday that he will support Donald Trump in the 2024 election, securing the support of one of the biggest names on Wall Street for the former president.
Schwarzman, the billionaire co-founder and chairman of the world’s largest private equity firm and major Republican donor, said in a statement that the “dramatic rise in anti-Semitism has prompted him to focus with greater urgency on the consequences of the upcoming election.”
It’s not just the virulent anti-Semitism we’re seeing under Biden’s leadership that worries Schwarzman – he also notes that many of the president’s other policies have been equally disastrous. The Wall Street titan criticized nearly every major pillar of Biden’s agenda, saying he shares “the concern of most Americans that our economic, immigration and foreign policies are taking the country in the wrong direction.”
For all these reasons, he will not only fully support Trump, but will also support the Republican candidates. across the border:
For these reasons, I plan to vote for change and support Donald Trump for President. In addition, I will support the Republican Senate candidates and other Republicans across the ballot.
As more and more polls show Trump building a solid lead over the failed president and Biden continues to falter every time he appears in public, other financial bigwigs are also taking note. They see the writing on the wall:
Other billionaires, including oil and natural gas executive Harold Hamm, Wall Street investor Nelson Peltz and hotel magnate Robert Bigelow, are also supporting the former president after previously issuing statements condemning his actions following the January 6, 2021 Capitol riots.
Trump’s surge in massive donors comes at a time when President Joe Biden’s fundraising efforts have shown signs of slowing. Earlier this week, the Biden team reported that it brought in less money in April, when Trump’s campaign team said it had raised money together with the Republican National Committee.
Whether we like it or not (and I don’t), money and massive donors play a massive role in who wins elections in this country. Biden and the Democrats have elevated fundraising from the elite to an art form – practically every Hollywood executive and Silicon Valley CEO gives generously to the Democratic Party. It’s high time we got some financial heavyweights on board. our Page – even if we don’t like everything about some of them.
Sometimes I’ve wondered: where is our George Soros? Surely not every billionaire can be a crazed leftist (although it almost seems that way). In some ways, Elon Musk has taken on that role, and while he doesn’t fully embrace the conservative stance, he is still a robust supporter of free speech and has denounced much of the progressive insanity we’ve seen in recent years.

Schwarzman’s about-face may be a harbinger of what is to come: More and more politically busy figures – including former Trump opponents – are realizing that we simply cannot continue under this Biden regime while our country descends into chaos.
