The United States Census Bureau has a Tranche of information about the American economy and how well Americans are doing under the Biden/Harris administration. While this is all compelling and there is a wealth of information that may take several days to fully process, Republican activist Zach Parkinson has produced an compelling analysis of how the current economic situation of average Americans compares to their situation during the Trump presidency.
The results are, to put it mildly, reveals.
New census data released this morning shows how feeble the economy is under Harris and Biden
Median household income is **lower** today than in 2019

Let’s look at some details.

With this data, you can directly compare the first three years of the Harris-Biden administration with the first three years of the Trump administration
From 2016 to 2019, median household income increased by nearly $7,700
That’s seven times the enhance we saw under Harris-Biden… pic.twitter.com/T7Lbck3jFd

That’s *7x* the enhance we saw under Harris-Biden (just over $1,000). The same is true for all major ethnic groups.
We’re looking at data from three years of each administration; in both cases, the first three years of a first term. While the overall growth rate of real household income was about seven times higher under Trump than under Biden/Harris, the state numbers for minority groups are also impressive. While black Americans say real household income rose twice as much during the Trump administration as it did under Biden/Harris, Hispanic and Asian Americans saw nearly ten times the enhance during the Trump years.
Of course, it is more informative to look at what percentage enhance this represents, and here, too, the Trump years have the advantage.

This means that the income of the average household increased by 10% in the first three years under Trump, while under Harris-Biden there was only a 1% enhance.
To put this in perspective, if we had had the same real growth from 2020 to 2023 as in the first three years of the Trump administration, then… pic.twitter.com/eHk3tKy5EV

To put that in perspective, if there had been the same real growth from 2020 to 2023 as in the first three years of the Trump administration, the median household income would be nearly $88,000.
That’s $7,300 more than today
Here, the benefits were more evenly distributed for all groups: In the Trump years, there was an enhance of about 10 to 15 percent for all population groups – in the Biden/Harris years, however, only a meager 1 to 5 percent.
Although the entire X-thread contains much more data – and in any case read the whole thing – A good indicator of differences in economic policy is the number of people who exceeded the official poverty line in each government.

While under Trump the number of people living in poverty decreased across all ethnic groups, this is not the case under Harris-Biden.

Here too, the clear advantage is Trump.

The poverty indicator is particularly revealing when you consider a major philosophical difference between the left and right in this country when it comes to economics and poverty. The left tends to measure the success of economic policy by the number of people who receive government support, while the right tends to measure that success by the number of people who no longer need government support. This is largely because the left thinks wealth is something that must be distributed, while the right (rightly) thinks wealth is something that must be created and earned.
Moreover, it is demanding for the left to refute this data because it comes from one of its sacred cows: the government. And the Trump campaign would be wise to read this report, digest it, and turn it into talking points. It is a pretty clear depiction of the economic success of the previous administration compared to the failures of the current administration, and it comes from a source the left cannot easily ignore.
