During the 118th Congress, the House Oversight Committee held 135 hearings, sent more than 600 investigative letters, issued 51 subpoenas, heard testimony from 112 government witnesses, and saw 23 bills passed in the House – three of which became law.
The committee investigated the Biden family’s business dealings and found that members of the Biden family and their associates had received more than $27 million from foreign individuals or entities from 2014 to the present. The committee alleged that the family set up shell companies to hide the payments from scrutiny.
