One of the things we saw in this election was a clear shift in many areas that were typically blue toward Republicans and President-elect Donald Trump.
We’ve seen it in places like New York and New Jersey, which are generally considered deep blue areas.
There’s another area where you might not think Trump would win support, and that’s in Chicago. It’s been building for a while. There are several reasons for this, and one of them is the incredibly penniless way the city has handled the problem of illegal immigrants.

They simply want to spend more and more and demand more revenue from taxpayers.
The residents leave it up to the mayor. Some wore T-shirts that read, “Chicago is going red.”
“I have a great idea of what we can achieve with this budget. First, let’s start by stopping illegals from getting everything for free, free housing, free education, free food. Yes, let’s start with that. This will save us a lot of money,” one woman told Johnson.
“Let’s start there. Then let’s start with you. your salary. You will go down in history as the worst mayor in America. Let’s start by reducing your salary. They make too much money,” she continued.
This resident then criticized Democratic politicians for calling for “defunding the police” but then having their own police data. She said they should be placed in the neighborhoods of residents who needed them.
Finally, she promised them that if they voted for a property tax increase, they would vote her out: “None of you will be sitting in these seats.”
Residents then reminded the mayor that if the city didn’t get its act together or if they stood in the way of deporting illegal immigrants, President-elect Donald Trump and his team would step in and deal with the problem. One resident said there would be an audit, then an investigation and then a conviction.

Another thanked the city council for eliminating property tax increases and excoriated the mayor, who she said was “embarrassing us.” She thanked them for taking her out of the business of giving illegal aliens priority over American citizens.
A local resident called on politicians who claimed they were ready to go to prison to get in the way and called on “Trump, Tom Homan” to reach out to them first. Her microphone was turned off as she addressed Johnson and called for a forensic exam.

The resident said residents were “making them famous” and then shouted, “Flip Chicago red!”
I think the residents simply managed to “make them famous” and assist bring greater awareness to their struggles and concerns throughout the country.
