It may already be the end of 2024, but CNN is still obsessed with January 6, 2021. During an interview with Scott Presler, a reporter from the left-wing network made a desperate attempt to bait the voter registration activist by asking him if he was calling for peace were “to avoid another January.”[uary] Type 6 Incident.” He provided the perfect answer.

REPORTER: I noticed that you often use the word “peaceful” when calling on people to take action.
PRESLER: Peaceful
REPORTER: Is this to avoid another January 6th-type incident?
PRESLER: With all due respect, I would like to avoid people like you saying that I am anything but that. My motto is to just be super sweet, have my facts and figures, treat everyone with love and respect, and as you can see, an army of people will follow.
The bias showed before the reporter even got the question out of her mouth. Note that the Chyron refers to Presler as a “controversial activist.” I’m having a challenging time figuring out what’s controversial about legal voter registration. Is it because people turn to the Amish? Or just the fact that it helped Trump win Pennsylvania, which CNN no doubt finds very controversial?
I remember Stacey Abrams refusing to concede her 2022 election defeat to Brian Kemp Driving disinformation on voting machines. Her campaign organization was also there involved in a scandalfinally closed. Has CNN always did she describe her as “controversial” in her many appearances on the network? Of course not.
What does the game kind of reveal, right? If Presler didn’t exploit the word “peaceful” in his calls to action, CNN would find a way to accuse him of “stochastic terrorism,” or whatever the current buzzword is to suggest that someone is promoting violence. However, if he uses it, it will be understood that he will have to try to avoid another January 6 “incident”. This is press bias in a nutshell.
At some point you’d think CNN and the rest would notice no one cares Around January 6th. If the 2024 election wasn’t enough evidence of that, I’m not sure what is. The press claimed for years that Donald Trump used January 6 to overthrow the government, an accusation that was never backed up by evidence, and he Despite it Won. It’s time to let this thing go.
Credit to Presler for not taking the bait. Turning the question around and pointing out that he was just qualifying his statements because the press is such a hotbed of bias and accuses every Republican of fomenting violence was a great answer.
