If ever there was a time for moral clarity, it is at this moment, two weeks before Election Day, when bad decisions at the ballot box will have stern consequences for decades to come and future generations will pay the price for those decisions, literally and figuratively will be made by voters in 2024.
As in 2016 and 2020, the mainstream media has once again positioned itself as a key player in helping to create and/or reinforce (false) narratives that make Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and other Republicans look evil They would make a difference: the rollback of all the rights Americans hold dear while pursuing their political enemies with wild abandon.
They claim there will be “fascism,” an captivating choice of words considering it was the Democrats (and their apologists in the media) who were the staunch advocates of authoritarian COVID lockdowns, not to mention the outspoken right-wing policies, which we have seen used against Trump (and his supporters) at the highest levels of government since before his election in 2016.

Unsurprisingly, this was exactly the false narrative pushed on Wednesday in a CNN segment with host Brianna Keilar and Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL).
During their back-and-forth exchange, Keilar referenced the Atlantic hit against Trump as well as Trump’s recent comments calling out Reps. Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff (D-CA).Enemies from within“ as a sign that Trump would rule with an iron fist.
Waltz was having absolutely nothing of it and, after several conversations, left Keilar speechless with his response, in which he noted not only the suspicious timing but also the questionable credibility of the players involved in the hit.
Next waltz correctly pointed out referred to Schiff and other Democrats that rhetoric matters over action and that some of the things Schiff and his allies have done to this country have been to directly undermine it for political gain by repeatedly pushing for Trump’s impeachment under false pretenses :
WALTZ: Maybe. I don’t know John Kelly. I don’t think I’ve ever met him. He clearly has deep contempt for Donald Trump and was fired by him. Also, the owner of The Atlantic magazine is a major donor to Kamala Harris and a close personal friend, so I find this incredibly captivating.
And to this kind of domestic enemy, President Trump actually said: When there is national unrest, when there is unrest, when we have people, when law and order breaks down, then it is entirely appropriate to utilize the military. The National Guard has been deployed throughout our history.
KEILAR: Congressman, he’s been talked about – he named the Pelosi – Congressman, he named your colleague Adam Schiff.
WALTZ: You had Adam Schiff on that network and many others who lied to the American people and opened a hearing that lied to the American people –
KEILAR: Whatever –
WALTZ: -he says he saw it, but you brought it up [them]. And said he saw –
(crosstalk)
WALTZ: -He said he saw evidence of Russian collusion that turned out to be false. And our country was in complete chaos for two years because of a false report –
KEILAR: Anyway – Congressman –
WALTZ: – which also affected our relationship with Russia. So this is an enemy within. And I don’t think he said he was going to utilize the military to target him. In part of the conversation he said: We have to quell unrest and maintain law and order, and if the military has to support law enforcement, that’s fine. And on the other hand, he said that there are people who are misleading the American public, which is causing chaos.
KEILAR: I just want to clarify that he talked about the National Guard and then the military.
WALTZ: But let’s go back to – let’s go back to this idea of fascism and centralized control, because we have a charge of rhetoric, you know, he said, as opposed to what he said. And then what I see are actual actions by the progressive left. I mean, fascism is really about no separation of powers, no checks and balances.
They want to fill the Supreme Court, I’ve seen that legislation. They want to eliminate the filibuster, our last harbinger of bipartisanship. They want to abolish the Electoral College, where just a few cities would decide our next president. These are crucial checks and balances that control power for everyone, and the left is actually trying to abolish them because they don’t like him.
What I think voters will have to decide in the next few weeks is whether these are rhetorical accusations from a conversation four years ago, actions they are currently witnessing from the left, or a lack of action in terms of making their lives better in the economy and crime and at the border and in global chaos. And I think it’s those measures they’ll be voting on, or lack thereof.
That’s how it’s done, folks.

If you know someone who is still undecided about this election, show them the video and/or transcript of Waltz laying out the choices voters will face in two weeks: The Guy, Lawfare and Political Persecution called what they are (because he was a victim). of it) or the woman who endorsed it (and participated in it), depending on the target’s political beliefs?
