As I mentioned earlier, Senator JD Vance (Republican of Ohio) has risen to the occasion since he became Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s running mate in overdue July, from the way he has handled the liberal media’s talking points to to the way he refuses to do so, retreats from a fight and is armed with receipts so he can hand them to his critics when challenged.
Then there was his beastly performance at the Veep debate, where he made mincemeat of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris is desperately hoping to win over male voters, the Trump Vance support Ticket in droves.

But while Walz was ostensibly partly to reassure male voters (as if they needed it) that masculinity in America will not be a thing of the past if the Harris-Walz team is elected, Vance’s actual masculine demeanor and his Style has been on full display at recent events, including one Thursday in North Carolina.
Vance was in Greensboro for a town hall-style campaign stop where former professional racing star Danica Patrick interviewed him and the senator also answered questions from the audience. While Vance was naturally critical of the Democratic ticket, one moment during the event stood out from the rest.
As Vance listened to someone speak, a woman could be heard screaming behind him. Vance was immediately on alert and stood up to see what the problem was and asked if she was OK. Moments later, he joked, “Kamala Harris built this platform behind us, that’s what happened,” before asking again if she was OK.
“Are we okay, ma’am?” Are we okay?”

I’m sure this woman was probably embarrassed as the situation unfolded, but when she got home she had a whole story to tell, didn’t she? I can hear it right now.
“JD Vance came to my rescue! You should have seen those blue eyes.”
Come on ladies, you know that’s exactly how you would put it if you were in her shoes!
If you all think I’m just kidding, remember: After the vice president debate, the conversation was going in certain, um, circles Vance’s eyes as if voters were just discovering their blue color.
And while that’s a superficial thing and has nothing to do with a candidate’s position on the issues, as my colleague Nick Arama said at the time: “It’s the intelligence and the politics that are important, but that’s definitely a plus too.” .” .”
I think this is especially true when you see a candidate/politician show the utmost confidence in themselves and their abilities without appearing arrogant.
This is something we also saw from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just a few days ago when he bluntly stated, “Let me be clear, we run the show” and “I’m the sheriff in charge of this has say, and that’s what we’re going to do.” Be careful to protect you. Don’t worry about it. This was said in response to people who had concerns about how FEMA would respond following Hurricane Milton in Florida.
People should not underestimate the power of these moments and the placid they bring to voters in times of emergency (in the case of Vance) or in times of crisis (in the case of DeSantis). They are so endearing and true that it might make an onlooker finally jump off the hook and choose a side.
As Nick Arama also said, “When you’re in a tough fight, every little bit helps.” That was true yesterday, true today, and will be true on Election Day.
