One of the most poignant moments on the third night of the Republican National Convention was when the families of the victims of the terrorist attack on Abbey Gate during Joe Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal took the stage. These Gold Star families shared their grief and their experiences trying to get answers from the Biden administration – or even just a straightforward acknowledgment of their loss.

In a despicable move, MSNBC refused to air this segment and instead intercut it with some hand-wringing about the fate of Biden’s presidency and who might replace him on the ballot. You can see the families on the stage behind the MSNBC setup.

Finally, Nicolle Wallace seems a little uncomfortable – as she should.
Then they bring in DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison and laugh and laugh – while the rest of the country was heartbroken and in tears.
MSDNC left the RNC convention just as the families of the 13 Gold Star Party heroes killed in Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal spoke of Biden’s utter failure of leadership.
Instead, DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison was a guest and cracked jokes.

This is the same network that took Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough off the air on Monday because they were worried one of their guests might say something stupid. That they then made this decision is a little baffling given that, but then again, they don’t care about the military and can’t bear to present evidence that there have actually been military deaths during the Biden administration.
