Remember when Democrats shouted “Believe all women” from the rooftops? From social media hashtags to Supreme Court hearings, there was a time when there was no escaping the political push of the “Me Too” movement. How is it going these days?
Well, the current husband of the Democratic Party presidential nominee has been credibly accused by three corroborating witnesses of publicly slapping his ex-girlfriend, and the press won’t touch on the story. So much for believing all women, I guess. But it’s not just that the press doesn’t report on the issue or ask questions about it. They don’t even allow others to mention it.
SEE: Doug Emhoff reportedly slapped his ex-girlfriend so difficult in public that she “flipped.”
Enter Scott Jennings, who has the special ability to send various CNN panels into apoplectic shock. He did it again on Wednesday after raising questions surrounding Emhoff’s past.
🤣 OMG: This CNN panel completely lost their minds when Scott Jennings brought up Doug Emhoff’s domestic violence scandal.
They cannot stand being accused of hypocrisy. This is wonderful.

JENNINGS: I have to tell you, this campaign, this, so everything that’s being said about Donald Trump and his treatment of women and the gender gap in this campaign, this rapper, who I have to fully admit is sold a lot of records when you say so I read some of what he said about promoting domestic violence against women.
SALESMAN: No, no, no, no, he said if you’re notable you can grab her at the…
JENNINGS: Bakari, I listened to your entire filibuster if you could just give me 13 seconds.
SELLER: I’ll give you 12 because he said grab them by the mmm, mmm, mmm.
JENNINGS: So when you think about the things that he said to sell those records, and you also think about some of the questions that concern Harris’ own husband in that regard.
(crosstalk and screaming)
SALESMAN: Oh my God. Okay, you don’t even give 12 seconds.
PHILLIP: Wait a minute…
JENNINGS: I’m just saying…
SELLER: I’m not gone, let you go to the other side of BS.
PHILLIP: Okay, I think, Scott, you can’t… hey, hey, hey…
SELLER: I cannot represent you in a defamation case.
PHILLIP: We’re going to pause here for a second, okay.
The longer this campaign drags on, the more it should become clear to you that the Democrats have no choice left. They have used every bit of useful material against Donald Trump, and all they can do now is repeat the same things over and over again. What Sellers was referring to came to delicate over time Election 2016. In 2024 it won’t even matter.
As for Jennings bringing up Emhoff’s domestic violence scandal (the first discussion was about Harris performing with rapper Eminem), that’s completely fair and hasn’t been covered by the press at all. If CNN were a real news channel, investigative reporters would have covered the issue months ago. Instead, they choose to actively unrecognized the story.
That brings me to Abby Phillip. When she says, “Scott, you can’t do that,” I’m reminded of how incredibly hypocritical that was of her, considering CNN’s penchant for broadcasting literally anything suggestive around literally every Republican.
The idea that Emhoff’s topics are taboo is nothing more than partisan nonsense. Trump has certainly never received such treatment, and Sellers is an absolute clown for trying to filibuster instead of addressing a very grave story. Keep in mind that he and others in the press are currently running on an obviously fabricated, anonymously sourced claim about Trump, but the fact that three people vouched for what Emhoff did is not enough to support the claim at all to cover? This is garbage.
