They lied about Joe Biden’s mental fitness for office. They lied about Donald Trump – Russia, Russia, Russia, he recommended injecting bleach, he ordered his supporters to attack the Capitol – the list goes on.
This is our corrupt media, people.
In their latest attempt to denounce the American public, they have been insisting for months that Joe Biden believes that “no one is above the law” and that he was simply too principled a guy to pardon his son Hunter, who was in prison pleaded guilty to a federal tax case and was convicted of weapons possession. Over at MSNBC, CNN, the network news and the major liberal newspapers, they piously insisted to us, the little people, that Joe was a saint who looked down from his high throne and always put the country above all else.
Well, Joe simply destroyed that narrative, and as anyone with any sense knew he would, he pardoned Hunter on Sunday night. Once again the corrupt media has been exposed and is left with egg on its face. Can you say they lied? Not necessarily, because they didn’t knowledge That’s what Biden intended, but it’s secure to say they made a fool of themselves in doing their job, credulously taking Joe’s dubious claims at face value.

“The contrast is profound. To sit there and say, ‘Well, I’m not going to get involved in the trial, and I wouldn’t pardon my son,'” said CNN analyst SE Cupp. “On the one hand, the Democrats and Joe Biden are protecting the justice system, on the other hand, the Republicans and Trump are protecting Trump.”
“He doesn’t pardon his son, which he could do. “These are federal charges,” former federal prosecutor Andrew Weissmann told MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace in the montage, adding, “He’s not doing that.” He’s not doing it because he lives what it means in this country to have the rule of law.”
The really funny thing about the whole thing is that these people aren’t actually mad that Biden pardoned his son; They are angry that the pardon undermines their attacks on Trump.

“I think Joe Biden has a chance here to stand up for the rule of law and say the rule – the law is the law, no matter who it is, no matter whether it’s Trump or Biden,” MSNBC guest Molly Jong-Fast said later in assembly. “And remember, part of the danger of Trumpism is that it destroys institutions, important institutions of our democracy. So this is an opportunity for Biden to say, you know, the jury found him guilty. That’s how it’s supposed to work. Period. Paragraph. End of story.”
No, Molly. Not the end of the story.
The end of the story is that, aside from Joe Biden’s legacy, the biggest losers from this dishonorable fiasco are the corporate/legacy/dying/whatever you want to call them media. As we like to say here, you can’t hate them enough.
But after seeing this, you may hate her a little more.
