Welp, the Trump-loathing team at MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” issued perhaps its worst warning yet on Monday about what will happen to America if Donald Trump wins the 2024 presidential election.

Civil War. Yes.

Simpish co-host Joe Scarborough opened the celebrations by sharing his TDS-infused thoughts on Trump’s triumphant speech at his rally Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, the site of the July 13 assassination attempt against the former president.

Not surprisingly, Scarborough’s statements toward Trump supporters and the former president himself came across as both condescending and demeaning (emphasis mine).

I saw part of Donald Trump’s speech this weekend. It was remarkable, the lies. Not, not just in terms of things, but in terms of politics, he just made things up and just threw them out there. And me, meI was shocked that the audience was really that stupidto believe the crazy lies he was putting out there.

Memo to Scarborough: I’ve seen enough clips of your lie-filled show to last a lifetime or two, and one can only imagine the mental prowess your Audience, please.

John Heilemann, national affairs analyst for NBC News and MSNBC, not only eagerly agreed; He also upped the fear factor.

I think it’s obvious where Republicans are now, what they’re envisioning and what they’re preparing for, given the possibility that they’ll lose this election on November 5th. And I, I, I, I’m not a very anxious person. I’m, I, I, I’m nervous, very nervous about what that will look like.

Incredibly, disaster expert extraordinaire Scarborough responded:

I, I, I am not a catastrophe causer. Obviously, like everyone else, I’m worried about where this country is going. This is something to be very concerned about.

Next, sniveling British “journalist” and broadcaster Katty Kay presented the Left’s narrative of a “threat to democracy” if Trump wins.

I keep thinking back to the book “How Democracies Die” by Ziblatt and Novitsky. And they talk about the two of them Things that are necessary for democracies to die in countries that were democratic.

And One is the demonization of the other, another groupor some kind of minority group and the normalization of violent rhetoric.

Stop the tape.

As Florida Senator Rick Scott (r.) Posted on X on July 13, the day of the first assassination attempt against Trump:

Democrats and liberals have called Trump a fascist in the media. They compared him to Hitler. They tried to lock him up. They tried to remove his Secret Service protection. Just this week, Joe Biden said he wanted to target Trump. This is not an unfortunate incident. This was an assassination attempt by a madman inspired by the rhetoric of the radical left.

And of course, we can add “white supremacist,” “racist,” “homophobe,” “transphobe,” and a host of other demonizing terms to the left’s list of ad hominem attacks against Trump.

Kay’s second thing necessary for democracies to die was the Democrats’ favorite saying:

And in a country with so many weapons, it doesn’t take much. People may not need a huge leap of imagination to imagine communities that If Donald Trump lost, they would see it as a reason, a permission, if you will, to take revenge on people who didn’t vote for him and didn’t support him.

Nonsense, but the left’s fearmongering about “gun violence” is leading to further restrictions or bans on the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding gun owners.
