On the fourth and final day of the Republican National Convention, Donald Trump took the stage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In his speech, the Republican presidential candidate called for unity, described in detail the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, and made it clear: We’re going to practice, baby, practice.

Trump described in detail what happened on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania:

I want to start tonight by expressing my gratitude to the American people for the outpouring of love and support they have received following the attack on my rally on Saturday. I will tell you what happened, and you will never hear it from me again because it is too painful to tell.

Watch his full statement on the attack:

Trump accepted the Republican nomination for President of the United States and called for national unity.

I’m running for president for all of America, not half of America, because winning for half of America is not a victory. So tonight, with faith and devotion, I proudly accept your nomination for President of the United States.

Trump about his wife and former First Lady Melania:

I am deeply honored to be accompanied on this journey by my wonderful wife, Melania. Thank you, Melania, and thank you for your handsome letter to America calling for national unity. It has captivated so many.

Throughout the RNC, speakers reminded Americans what life is like under the Trump administration, while Democrats promised voters the moon but failed to deliver on those promises.

They said the Republican Party is a gigantic tent party where everyone is welcome. As the GOP makes gains with Spanish voters, newborn Voters and Asian Voters, Biden is losing support among their largest voting bloc, black women.

Most of the speakers hit the right political themes and stories about Trump for those who followed the convention with an open mind and were undecided or dissatisfied with the Democratic Party. Hopefully the GOP will grow, and as long as people turn out to vote in droves, they will deliver a Trump-Vance victory, the majority in the Senate, while also retaining the majority in the House. “From your lips to God’s ears,” as the ancient saying goes.
