With Election Day less than two months away, it is the perfect time to remind people of the Biden-Harris administration’s grim legacy on the border crisis, and in particular, that Vice President Kamala Harris has failed miserably in her role as Biden’s border czar.
On Tuesday morning, a hearing was held in the House Judiciary Committee, where focus were the perspectives of the victims, described by their family members, other relatives and victim advocates.
Among the witnesses were Jocelyn Nungaray’s mother Alexis and Rachel Morin’s mother Patty. testify was the advocate for crime victims, April Aguirre, who appeared as the “voice of 11-year-old Maria Gonzalez,” who was “brutally raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant last year,” noticed on their Twitter/X-Feed.

At one point during the hearing, committee member Veronica Escobar (D-Texas), who has shamelessly championed Harris on the issue of our porous southern border, said the witnesses had been brought here to be “exploited” by Republicans.
“… we have colleagues who exploit people’s suffering for political purposes, and unfortunately that is exactly what is happening today,” Congresswoman Escobar said.

Aguirre was not amused either. and went off:
“It’s an insult that you say that to these families and assume that they are being used or exploited in some way,” Aguirre told Escobar. Aguirre then read her full phone number and told the Texas congressman to call her and explain how she could facilitate these families.
“Not once, [Alexis Nungaray’s] “When my daughter was murdered and I was helping her navigate the criminal justice system, a Democrat called me to offer to help me – it was all Republicans,” Aguirre continued, pointing out that she is politically independent and has voted for both parties.
She also accused Escobar of interrupting her several times before she had finished speaking.

It is fascinating that Escobar claims that the Republicans on the committee are playing politics, even though a similar accusation could be made against them based on their statements. Why? Because Escobar not only Consulting from Harris on talking points regarding the border crisis, but she is also co-chair of Harris’ presidential campaign:

I’m sure it was pure coincidence that Escobar tried to block a hearing and witnesses that would facilitate shine a brighter airy on the deadly consequences of Harris’ failure as Biden’s “point person” at the southern border. Yes, just a coincidence…
