Bob Woodward is best known for co-authoring the groundbreaking investigative work “All the President’s Men” with fellow journalist Carl Bernstein, which, in addition to their reporting for the WashingtonPost helped force former President Richard Nixon to resign in the mid-1970s over the Watergate scandal.
Since then, he has written numerous books detailing the inner workings of successive administrations, mostly seeming to ignore the weaknesses of the Democrats while relentlessly criticizing Republican presidents like George W. Bush and Donald Trump.
Woodward has barely made headlines with his investigations into Joe Biden’s presidency, which has been far more damaging to the country than any of Nixon’s escapades. It seems he would rather enjoy the cocktail tour of Washington and Manhattan and make the occasional appearance on CNN to reminisce about Watergate than actually investigate what goes on in the Oval Office.

Longtime Washington Post editor and Watergate reporter Bob Woodward expressed earnest concerns about President Biden’s dismal debate performance – and compared the president’s fiddling with a “political hydrogen bomb.”
“I think the answer is to report and to be very aggressive in seeking an explanation – what happened here?” Woodward, 81, MSNBC’s Air Melber said on Friday.
Woodward said Biden’s debate was “so bad, so terrible” that the American people have a right to know what is going on.

What happened, what happened? It was almost impossible.
It is amazing how many journalists suddenly act as if they are surprised by Biden’s decline. They seem to act as if it is all a shock and “who could have known?“And this despite the fact that media like RedState have been reporting on it for years.

Woodward continued:
“We don’t want it to come out in a book or a paper in a few years or a decade. We need to know it now,” he insisted.
“I sat there and watched it and couldn’t believe it. I thought, not only is this a political hydrogen bomb for him and the Democratic Party, but, you know – what happened? What happened?” the veteran journalist lamented.
Calls for Biden to drop out of the raceWoodward explained, are now “unavoidable.”
He speculated that the president may have been unsettled by a heated argument with his staff during preparation for the debate.
“We don’t want it to appear in a book or a paper in a few years or a decade,” Woodward said. My question: Then where the hell have you been? Where have all were you elite “journalists”?
I’ll tell you where: You betrayed this country and denied the truth because you were more interested in your ideology than the future of this nation. Now Woodward is suddenly “curious”:
“Let’s look at this a little more closely. When a building explodes in the city center of a city, the story is first about what happened and then how it happened and why it happened. And that interests me very, very much because this was a huge disaster,” he said.
