As RedState reported, Wednesday night’s CNN roundup with Vice President Kamala Harris was a disaster for the Democratic presidential nominee. One of the most embarrassing moments was when host Anderson Cooper asked her, “What do you do?” Roe v. Wade The legislation failed to be codified in the House, and she mentioned that she would “take a look at the filibuster.”
Another cringe-worthy moment was when she was asked by an audience member, “What weaknesses do you have?” after launching into one of her infamous word salads, Harris told The man cackled from time to time: “So it may be that sometimes I don’t have an answer ready so quickly when you ask about a certain political topic because I want to research it. I’ll want to study it.” I confess, I’m a bit of a nerd sometimes.

As we also documented, the reactions of all CNN panelists after the town hall concluded were insightful. They complained that Harris (again) contained too few details and too many word salads, but Trumping. At one point, co-host Dana Bash said, “Well, I’ll just tell you what I’m hearing from people I’ve talked to, which is that they’re not sure their goal was to close the deal.” she did.
That…didn’t please some die-hard Kamala Harris supporters, including self-proclaimed “journalist” Aaron Rupar, who shared a video of Bash’s comments along with this steamy take:
Jesus – Dana Bash says she’s heard from people that Harris failed to “close the deal.” These people will involve us directly in fascism. pic.twitter.com/XwGpxWKj8q

The reaction of “conservative” NeverTrumper columnist Jennifer Rubin of the Washington Post was perhaps even more graphic. Check out the hysteria and despair here:
which people? When? How many? How did they contact her?

You can tell from the reactions of David Axelrod and others on the CNN panel that they know Harris has done poorly but believe she still has time to turn things around.
But the Jen Rubins of this country – and there are many – hate Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump so much that it blinds them to Kamala Harris’s obvious flaws and the fact That’s just who she is and nothing can be changed about that.
It’s possible that deep down they know it but don’t want to admit it, so they make up for it by pretending there’s a huge media conspiracy to undermine Harris’ campaign – which is ridiculous given the fact is wild partisan (left) tendencies of the MSM.
Whatever the case, there’s no denying that there’s a real panic on the Harris side of the race right now, and not just because early voting in states like North Carolina and Nevada is following trends of “high Democratic voter turnout,” which we suspect is opposed. I’ve seen it in the past, but because Harris can’t even go on Democrat-friendly networks like CNN and “seal the deal,” bless her heart (and Jen Rubin’s too).
