Donald Trump reacted on Sunday to Joe Biden’s bombshell news that he was abandoning his disastrous re-election campaign, and not surprisingly the former president and current Republican candidate criticized Biden’s record and said he was “not fit to run for president” and had “never” been fit to hold the office.
“He is the worst president in the history of our country,” Trump said in a telephone interview with Fox News Digital on Sunday afternoon. “There has never been a president as bad as this.”
But then he asked a question that will surely be discussed for as long as Biden is in office:
And I ask: who will govern the country in the next five months?
This will indeed be the question that will arise in the future: If the president’s cognitive abilities are too impaired to run a campaign, how will he govern the most powerful country on earth?

What’s happening now?
Trump, however, had much more to say and continued his criticism of the chaos Joe has created on Truth Social Sunday.
The fraudulent Joe Biden was not fit to run for president and is certainly not fit to hold the office – and never was! He only got to the office of president through lies, phony news and not leaving his basement. Everyone around him, including his doctor and the media, knew he was not fit…

Everyone around him, including his doctor and the media, knew he was unfit to be president, and he wasn’t. And now look at what he’s done to our country: millions of people are coming across our border, completely unchecked and unchecked, many from prisons, mental institutions, and record numbers of terrorists. We will suffer greatly under his presidency, but we will repair the damage he has done very quickly. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
As we reported, Biden has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as his successor, and Bill and Hillary Clinton were also quick to announce their support. Former President Barack Obama issued a statement supporting Biden’s decision, but did not mention Kamala in his message.
Trump would most likely be delighted if Harris were to receive the nomination, as she is deeply unpopular and has few notable accomplishments to her name after three and a half years in office.
Trump is right on two counts: Joe Biden is one of the worst, if not the worst, president in US history, and we should all be asking who will be running the country for the next five months. It’s safe and sound to assume that calls for his resignation will reach a deafening crescendo.
