As the 2024 Democratic Party Convention begins in Chicago this week, one thing is clear from the start:
President Joe Biden is eliminated early, as evidenced by the fact that the speech he gives to the delegates is scheduled for Day one of the convention. First Lady Jill Biden will also speak on Monday, which means the Bidens and their obligatory endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris are done for, allowing Democrats to move forward with proceedings as if the man they voted for four years ago and again in the 2024 primaries never existed.

We can also expect to see more drastic reversals from Harris, who has been busy in recent weeks distancing herself from her past statements as a failed presidential candidate and her record as Biden’s vice president.
This, of course, was done with the predictable support of the mainstream media, which began early on to make people believe that Kamala Harris was not Biden’s border czar, when in fact she was appointed his point person for the southern border in March 2021 – and did a terrible job at it.
But while Kamala Harris and her advisers try to cover up her past and portray her as someone she is not in the fall election campaign, there is one thing she cannot escape: the fact that she is connected – for better or for worse – to Joe Biden’s past.
This was also stated – inadvertently – by Ben LaBolt, Biden’s White House communications director, when he admitted in a DNC kick-off interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Monday that Kamala Harris “has been the governing partner in every major decision the president has made during his time in office.”

Not to mention the deadly debacle of the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Remember, she was allegedly The ““She was the last person in the room” during the withdrawal talks, although a senior military official said: “She never made clear where she stood on the matter.”
The problem is that Democrats and the media want Harris to have it both ways. On the one hand, they claim that she was a trusted advisor on Biden’s most important decisions. But when she feels the pressure of those decisions, they turn the tables and claim that she was not involved in the process at all.
Either way, it casts a bad light on Harris, because her absence from Biden’s important decisions confirms the claims of her numerous critics that she is a empty suitand by her presence she is responsible for each and every one of them.
Watching her dodge and squirm over the next few weeks will be popcorn-worthy, to say the least. Will there be a point where her apologists in the press turn on her? Republicans would be foolish to wait and find out, and should use the LaBolt quote on a loop and continue to pick at and echo her statements. Word saladsand records because it gave them quite a enormous amount of material to work with.
