Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and her allies are increasingly desperate as they campaign in Pennsylvania, and it shows.
As we previously reported, there were a lot internal and outside grumbling from aides, staffers and Democratic officials in the state about the way the campaign was conducted, considering that winning Pennsylvania is critical to winning the presidency and that there is only about Election Day left two and a half weeks remain.
The complaints about the way operations are being conducted in the Keystone State are reminiscent of some of the substantial problems that derailed Harris’ failed 2020 presidential campaign, when she dropped out of the race long before the first primary had been cast.

Their desperation has manifested itself in a variety of ways, with the most recent (pathetic) demonstration being the Harris campaign’s move to blatantly lie about a Donald Trump campaign town hall in Pennsylvania held on Monday, where the Republican presidential nominee The meeting had to be suspended for about 30 minutes while two people who had a medical emergency were treated.
While everyone, including Trump, waited – which for many was a sign of respect for the two participants – Trump played music and danced to it. Kamala HQ and Harris made it seem like Trump had lost control. The story was of course very different, as my colleague Nick Arama documented and even fact-checked by ABC News, of all places.
But that didn’t stop Harris or her usual dishonest Twitter/X campaign account from pushing a different narrative:

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden also attended a campaign rally for Harris in Philadelphia. suggest The moment proved that Trump was “out of his mind” and, in his view, even more “unhinged”:
“Look at his rallies,” Biden said. “Last night his rally stopped answering questions because someone got hurt. And guess what? He stood on stage and danced for 30 minutes… I’m serious! …What’s wrong with this guy?”

In any case, the Trump campaign had that appropriate answer on Biden’s comments about Trump’s dance:
Karoline Leavitt, the Republican candidate’s national press secretary, responded to the president’s comments with her own dig: “Nobody cares about what Joe Biden has to say anymore,” she said. “That’s why his own party excluded him from the vote.”
Ouch. This will sting.
